As we all know, January through March 2023 we had plenty of California rain.
Although we were pleased the orchard received essential moisture for growth and development, the heavy rains occurred during the critical flowering period (February through March) when the trees are in bloom, which caused damage to the apricot blossoms and many were knocked off the tree due to heavy rains.
We welcome you to join us for this year's harvest but please keep in mind, we will not have as many fresh apricots as last season.
However, due to last year's abundant harvest, we were able to freeze several hundred pounds of fresh apricots and have made fresh jams, jellys and more apricot goodies for 2023.
